Here’s what you have to do: on PlayStation, go into the Settings and Accessibility options. In there, you can switch Circle and R3 off you go. On Xbox, you swap melee and crouch in The Finals in a similar fashion. Head into the Xbox Accessories App and swap the B and Right Stick buttons. That way, you won’t constantly be shooting off melee Or just make stealth and crouching the same thing. I don't even see why stealth is in the game, it has literally no use. I snuck in to the army base, snuck up behind a soldier with his back to me (nobody around) and did a knife kill, sudden wanted level and everybody knows where I am.

Not only can you use cover in this game but you can also "sneak". personally, I don't really see the need for crouching with both of those options available.
you need to manually enable crouch for this to work with import/export dlc. it's very simple to learn how just look in the installation tab below.
